What is something interesting that people may not know about you?
I love learning Chinese! I double majored with Asian Studies during my undergraduate degree, and I spent the summer of 2016 in Beijing in an intensive Chinese language program, where I completed the 400-level of college Chinese. This program had a language pledge to only speak Chinese during the duration of the two months in Beijing. I worked at a Chinese immersion Montessori school while completing my Master’s degree, which was a fun way to keep using my Chinese!
When taking a break from music-making, what is your favorite thing to do?
I love spending time outside, and during the summer I enjoy raising Monarch butterflies. This has been a hobby of mine for about fifteen years!
