Bryce Martin is a violinist and composer from Memphis, TN. He earned dual Bachelor’s degrees in Performance and Composition at Florida State University and is currently pursuing his Master’s in Performance with Bayla Keyes at Boston University.
In 2019, Bryce won the Young Artists’ Competition at FSU and in 2022 won the Graduate Violin Prize in the BU Bach Competition. Outside of music, Bryce enjoys cooking and taking walks.
What is something interesting that people may not know about you?
I consider myself a pretty decent cook.

What are you most looking forward to this summer with the NRO?
I hope to learn more about the brass tacks of auditioning for orchestra jobs. I’d also like to learn more about ways I could combine my composition background with an orchestral career.
