Douglas Amos joined the Erie Philharmonic as third trumpet in May of 2018 and, in October 2019, won the position of second trumpet. Additionally, Douglas plays in orchestras across the midwest and New England. Some of these include the Fort Wayne Philharmonic, Toledo Symphony Orchestra, Lansing Symphony Orchestra, Canton Symphony Orchestra, and Akron Symphony Orchestra. Douglas graduated from the New England Conservatory with a Master’s in Music in 2017. He now lives in Toledo, Ohio with his wife, Megan Amos, Principal Horn of the Toledo Symphony Orchestra.
