Jeremy Davis (2001) studies Percussion with Jim Babor and Joseph Pereira, both of whom play for the Los Angeles Philharmonic. He has performed as a soloist with the Pacific Symphony, has won the Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award, and has performed in the best concert halls across the world. Ultimately, Jeremy’s passion for music drives him to continue striving to be the best musician that he can be.
What is something interesting that people may not know about you?
I love tennis and started playing at a young age. My Dad played professionally for about one year before tearing his ACL. Before I got into music, my dream was to become a professional tennis player.

When taking a break from music-making, what is your favorite thing to do?
Having a night out with friends.
What are you most looking forward to this summer with the NRO?
I have played with a lot of good orchestras, but I am hoping NRO is the best yet. Hopefully, playing in such a great orchestra pushes me to be better.
