Olivia Taylor is a professional violinist and teacher based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She holds a master’s degree in violin performance from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor of Music degree in violin performance from Vanderbilt University. Her teachers have included Aaron Berofsky, Stephen Miahky, Cornelia Heard, Christina McGann, and June Huang. She has performed at the Kennedy Center, and has attended Aspen Music Festival and School, and Bowdoin International Music Festival.
What is something interesting that people may not know about you?
I played soccer fairly seriously for all of high school and wanted to be a professional soccer player at one point!

I like to draw.
What are you most looking forward to this summer with the NRO?
I hope to learn new repertoire and have exciting new experiences with friends. I would love to learn about the community in Breckenridge as well, and to have interesting conversations with people I wouldn’t have otherwise met.
