Rachel O’Connor is a French hornist who has performed internationally as a soloist and orchestral musician. She currently holds the position of 4th horn with the American Youth Symphony and was a member of the National Academy Orchestra of Canada from 2015-2018. Rachel is a recipient of the Presser Graduate Music Award and the American Musicological Society’s Irving Lowens Award and is currently a candidate for the Doctorate of Musical Arts in Horn and Master’s of Musicology from the Peabody Conservatory. Ms. O’Connor is very grateful for her mentors Amy Sanchez, Annie Bosler, Robert Rearden, Anicia Timberlake, and Susan Weiss.

Homecooked meals with my Mom and Babcia, feat. Polish specialties such as pierogi, Kluski, and borsch. A close second would be take-out Thai food on a night I really needed it!
