Shengjia is a violinist from Shanghai, China. She received her Master of Music degree studying under Wen Qian and Bachelor of Music in East China Normal University. She will begin her orchestra study in The Orchestra at Bard College in the Fall. She became an associate member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago and was in the 2022-2023 substitute pool of New World Symphony. In previous summers, Shengjia has attended the National Orchestral Institute.
What is something interesting that people may not know about you?
I am a dog person, but I never have had a dog, I hope to have my own one in the future.
